Lower yet we sink

Senator Obama's campaign launched a new ad today making fun of Senator McCain's lack of use of a computer.

Way to go to yet again lower the bar in spiteful attacks...Senator McCain, as a result of the torture he went through, is physically unable to use a keyboard. He cannot lift his arms or flex his wrists.

While one should probably expect this type of behavior from people who have called the current president anything from a monkey to a war criminal, it is still despicable.

The Disney Hypocrasy

So Matt Damon thinks that Gov. Palin is not qualified to be president, should Senator McCain be unable to complete his term. And every time that someone makes this argument, they conveniently forget that Sen Obama is even less qualified. Unless fluffy rhetoric is a qualification. Or invisibility in elected office. (Except for teaching 5 year-olds the facts of life, liberal style)

C'mon, Matt, be honest. Tell us why Obama has any more qualifiactions to be president. Where is the counterargument to your negative talking points? Where is the meat of the solution you propose? And please don't tell us that Obama has plans. Show us where he has ever implemented any of his plans. Show us the results. Talk is cheap I guess, except if you're an actor.

Raising hope above the stink

Despite evidence to the contrary, the left continues their personal attacks against Gov Palin as if it is going to dissuade anyone from voting for her. In the meantime, these attacks, coupled with the real message of hope and change for this election, has McCain/Palin making some headway with the electorate.

It is as if the liberal media and the elitist commentators from the hallowed heights of socialism are just incapable of raising themselves above their emotional and denigrating polemics. They seem to think that theirs is the default morally superior position, and are then so shocked when their underlying assumptions are blown out from under them repeatedly by voters in America. I guess I would also be a little ticked off when a "retard" like President Bush was clever enough to beat me in an election, twice.

In the meantime, Senator McCain and Governor Palin continue to take their message on the issues to the people, and the people apparently like it. They are getting stronger every day, while the other side has to scramble on defense. I wonder how long it will be before the leftist media recognizes the real policies that have not been working for 8 years, their own!

Support Sarah! For the sake of decency in America

There is no doubt. The left does not care about America. They are setting a standard for the level of discussion which is deemed appropriate. When it clearly is not. The attacks on Governor Palin's person are outrageous. They are dispicable. Putrid. And executed by those who are supposed to be the objective reporters of what is really happening.

There is no other option than to give your support to Governor Palin and her family, regardless of political persuasion, to stand up right now and support her right to run for office, her right to privacy when it comes to her family, and her right to free speech. All of which is being attacked by every lefty lunatic journalist out there right now. Disagree with her politically, but do not fall into the same trap that the mainstream media is falling. It breaks America down, it creates deep divisions, and handicaps whoever the target of such attacks are to the extent that their future ability to lead the country will be severely impaired.

Is this the type of discussion we would like to have in this country? And should McCain/Palin win the election, the smears will remain in the minds of those whose only impression of the USA comes from those who are besmirching and denegrating Palin today. They are not doing damage to the opposition, they are doing damage to the country. The bar is being set by these self-righteous pseudo-intellectuals. The press has become the moral gatekeepers of politcal debate, and they are dragging us through the bottom of the sewers.

Support Governor Palin, for the sake of all of America.

What does the world see?

What does the world see when they look at the 2 candidates? Pretty much what the media wants them to see, and not what the candidates are really about. If you thought that the liberal media is distorting the image of conservatives inside the borders of the USA, wait until you see what is being said in other countries.

With deep and serious voices, brows furrowed from indignant concern for the future of the world, we hear that Republicans are deeply concerned with the Sarah Palin pick. And by the way, that the gun-totin redneck hockey mom is straight from the PTA to the VP pick, with no experience to speak of. And together with that war-mongering Bush puppet McCain, the world should just prepare for doom.

All of which is of course nonsense. But don't expect the world to like or even understand American conservatism. For too long they have not heard anything but the rantings of the lunatic left wing as broadcast on CNN International and the BBC. And they are themselves so deep in politically correct socialism that the majority of the people have no idea what real conservatism is. Nor do they have the ability to care. They just blindly follow the "America bad" mantra from the left.

And when McCain wins the upcoming election, they will continue to shake their heads at the neanderthals who keep electing Republicans (even if McCain is not a model conservative). But don't fret, conservatism is the only thing that can stop the USA from becoming like them, overrun by immigrants and suicidally PC.
